About the Artist
LRose Studios workspace
Lauren spent the first years of her childhood in New York before moving with her family to Florida when she was eight years old (although, she will always consider herself a New Yorker). After graduating from the University of Florida in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and in 2014 with a Master's of Education in School Counseling and Guidance, Lauren and her husband moved to San Francisco, California where she felt constantly inspired to create by the colorful victorian homes, pride flags, and the majesty of the Pacific Coast. In 2018, she packed up and moved to Singapore which commenced her adventures in Asia. It was during this time that the idea for LRose Studios really took root. As Lauren got used to living abroad, art became a comfort, a way to reconnect with her previous life back home while adjusting to a new country. Leaving the heat and sunshine behind, for her next grand adventure, Lauren and her husband moved to Tokyo, Japan at the end of 2020 where she is currently working and creating.
Fun Fact: Lauren and her husband were featured on HGTV's House Hunters International. Their episode is called "Tug of War in Singapore".
